Is There Early Bird Pricing?
Yes. You can purchase seminar passes at a discounted rate until May 31st, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
Is There a Deadline to Register for the Contest and/or Seminars?
The deadline for contest entries, changes, or refunds is July 11th – 5 PM MST. NO EXCEPTIONS.
After July 11th, seminar passes will be available at the door only (starting Friday, July 25th, at 8:30 AM MST) if the event is not sold out.

Where Can I Prep My Contest Dog?
There will be NO BATHING/DRYING DOGS IN THE HOST HOTEL.
Anyone violating hotel rules may be asked to leave immediately.
We are currently working on a Bathing/Prepping plan.
Can I Shave My Poodle's Feet Prior to the Contest?
Yes!
Yes. Poodles entered in the Poodle Class, Diamond Jackpot, and First Timer/Beginner Class can have their feet shaved prior to the contest. However, the face must be shaved DURING the contest.
Is There a Holding Room for My Dogs at the Venue?
Yes, there will be a DAYTIME holding room at the venue. It will not be supervised full-time.
Dogs in the holding room must be in a kennel with your full name and cell phone number (plus your assistant’s).
A timesheet for each kennel must be filled out EVERY time the dog is exercised.
Dogs cannot be left in crates for more than 2-3 hours at a time. Violators will not be welcome back.
If you have multiple dogs entered, bring an assistant.
DO NOT leave dogs in vehicles.
Do I Need to Bring a Grooming Table for the Contest?
Absolutely NOT! LYNN PROFESSIONAL is supplying electric tables for EVERY competitor!
These tables will be for sale at the show at blowout prices.
Can I Just Come Shop at the Trade Show and Watch the Contest?
Yes, you can purchase a Trade Show/Contest Viewing Pass either online or at the door.
$15 per day
$40 for a three-day weekend pass
Clients, friends, and family are all welcome.
Can I Bring My Pets?
BRINGING YOUR PET TO THE EXPO? Please download, review, complete, and print the pet waiver prior to the event. We will have copies on site as well. All pets must be on a 48” non-retractable lead and no greater. Kindly review all the requirements on the waiver. May we suggest a stroller or carrier for small pets so they can enjoy the Expo as well?
Keep them leashed and under control.
No pets allowed in the seminar rooms, concession and competition floor. These areas will be marked.
Is There a Contestant Meeting?
Yes! A livestreamed contestant meeting will take place on Thursday November 20th at 7pm in Room???. This meeting can be attended virtually, or in person.
Yes. The contestant meeting will be held online via FACEBOOK LIVE – Thursday, July 24th, on the Mastergroom Canada FB page at 6 PM MST.
What Are the Trade Show/Building Hours?
Trade Show: Friday-Sunday, 10 AM – 6 PM. Some booths may open earlier for contestants.
Building Opens for Contestants: 7:30 AM every morning.
Is There a Social Night This Year? (TBD)
Of course! It wouldn’t be Tru North Grooming Show without a party!
Groom Team Canada is organizing this year’s party. Tickets are NOT included in passes. Contact Groom Team Canada for tickets.
Will There Be a Concession?
Yes, a concession will be open all three days for food purchases.
